Leadership team

Paul Stokes


For the last decade Paul has launched, grown and successfully exited security, risk management, and analytics technology companies.

He was the co-founder and CEO at Cognevo, a Security Analytics software business acquired by Telstra Corporation, co-founder and COO at Wynyard Group, a global security and crime analytics vendor that he helped guide to IPO in 2013, and the CEO of Methodware, a leading GRC software vendor. He has previously held leadership roles in global technology companies including BAE Systems, Deloitte and Cognizant.

Arun Raj


Arun is a technology leader with significant service delivery and organisational development experience.

Before founding Prevalent AI, he was the VP of Global Services at Cognevo, where he led a global team of cyber technology specialists, and VP of Services at Methodware, a leading GRC software vendor. His previous work includes senior executive roles at Wynyard Group and Cognizant, where he was responsible for delivering complex transformational technology initiatives.

Sir Iain Lobban KCMG, CB


Iain has spent his career in security and intelligence, including six years as the Director of GCHQ, the UK’s largest intelligence and security agency.

At GCHQ he is credited with radically reforming the agency’s role for the cyber security era, spearheading the UK’s first two national Cyber Security strategies and forging strong partnership between government and industry. Iain now advises governments and global businesses on cyber security risk management.

Andrew France OBE IEng MIET


Andrew’s 30-year career at GCHQ culminated in the role of Deputy Director for Cyber Defence Operations.

This included leading the UK’s national cyber defence strategy, with responsibility for both policy and operations. He went on to become the co-founder and CEO of DarkTrace and a co-founder of Cognevo, and is currently a strategic advisor to global banks, multinationals, threat intel providers and security startups.
